No: Pregnant women prefer not to get illnesses during pregnancy, but getting a typical simple case of tonsillitis should not cause any problems. If a woman is very unlucky, some complication might happen, but that would be rare... and we can't live life worrying about stuff that almost never happens. One should see her doctor to check for strep throat, as antibiotics would be needed to treat strep.
