Elbow pain: If there has been no obvious injury such as as sprain or confusion, most likely there is an inflammatory process such as tendonitis or epicondylitis(often called tennis elbow). Either way rest, liniment, and nsaids like ibuprofen usually help. If symptoms persist see an orthopedic surgeon who may inject corticosteroid medication and/or order physical therapy after evaluating you.
