Bladder pressure: If the ovarian cysts are of significant size to cause urinary urgency with bladder pressure, the cysts need to be resolved. Make sure that you don't have a urinary tract infection that has gone undiagnosed before opting for cyst resolution.

Go With The Flow: If you don't pee soon you'll will quickly experience something else even more unpleasant. The bladder can only hold so much (mine holds about a teaspoon-full so I know what an over-filled bladder feels like). It'll get more and more uncomfortable, maybe even leaking a bit ("overflow"), so see a doc. You'll get your 'urinary retention' taken care of and they'll start figuring out what caused it.
