Pleuritis?: Complete history is needed here but it sounds like you might have had a pneumothorax (air escaping from the lung to the surrounding pleural cavity through either a spontaneous or traumatic wound in the pleura that covers the lung). Fever suggests a complicating infection. You need to check with your dr or report to an urgent care facility or ER
