May be as below: Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves pain and inflammation of a thick band of tissue, called the plantar fascia, that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes. Please go to the Mayo Clinic website and you will b=get more information about causes, treatment.

Back or Bottom.: A hurt or injured heel can occur in at least two different areas, the bottom or plantar and the back or posterior. Injury to these areas involves entirely different structures and each will effectively change you normal walking dynamics. Resting, elevation and ice might help with controlling the initial injury, but if pain persist, you will definitely need to have it evaluated and x-ray taken.
