Unlikely: Am not aware of any studies or literature to support insomnia caused by taking one Klonopin (clonazepam) 0.5 mg pill. Start a sleep log noting meds, OTC/supplements, any alcohol/drug/caffeine/tobacco use and current stresses to review with pcp. Discuss with your doctor re further testing/guidance. Take care.

Nope: There is no reason that taking that pill one time would make you an insomniac. Since Klonopin (clonazepam) is given for anxiety perhaps you have anxiety which might be related to your trouble sleeping. You should have physical exam and then a psychological evaluation to determine any underlying problems and to work out a treatment plan.
