TMJ: It seems you are having temporomandibular joint problem. See a doctor specializing in TMJ. You probably have internal derangement of that joint.

TMJ involvement: Have a dentist evaluate your TMJ. If the dentist feels that you should be referred, a referral will be made. Make sure that your PIP insurance due to the car accident is still open if you have other involvement.

Joint Damage: Sounds like you have joint dysfunction that may or may not be related to your accident. Was a panoramic x-ray taken at that time to evaluate for fractured lower jaw? Please see your Dentist for evaluation and care or referral.
