Please help i have jaw popping with slight pain when i open my mouth under my ear?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

TMD: I sounds like you may have a temporomandibular joint disorder (tmd). Common symptoms include facial pain, limitation of jaw opening, and a cracking or popping sound with jaw movement. Some behavioral triggers may include bruxism, certain sleep positions, and frequent gum chewing. If pharmacologic therapy is indicated, a 10-14 day course of an nsaid, such as naproxen, is usually the first choice.
