How to start..: There can be medical reasons for overeating. See your pcp for an exam/eval to rule out medical factors and general guidance. Meantime begin a journal of what you typically eat. Include meds (prescribed/OTC/supplements), any alcohol/drug/tobacco/caffeine use and present life stresses. Review with pcp and ask about seeing a nutritionist. Changes will take time. Good you want help. Best wishes.
