I have heard i can take a zantac (ranitidine) or antihistamine tablet prior to drinking alcohol to stop my face from flushing red, is this true?

Flushing: Antihistamines may help, use a non sedating one such as Allegra to void added sedation from alcohol. Doubt zantac (ranitidine) will help with it though, other than treat potential heartburn from drinking..
