Sometimes my face swells for no apparent reason. my lower jaw , tongue, lip, and even my throat. at first it will start to itch. i take zantac, (ranitidine) benedry?

Allergic : There is some type of allergic response and if those meds work continue to use them. It is important to try and determine the cause as some responses get worse over time and eventually need more than you are using. If labs are not helpful you may need a food elimination and/ or medication elimination protocol supervised by medical provider.

Allergic reaction: Of concern is your airway involvement, which can quite quickly turn extremely dangerous. Talk to your GP about seeing an Allergist.
