Non specific: A detailed history is important in a new abdominal pain in a 52 years old lady. In the absence of any other symptoms and if the pain is recent, then it is probably a function pain. That means it is benign in nature. However in your age group one has to be very cautious as more serious conditions are more common. Only a history and exam by a physician can determine if further investigation is neces.

Varies: Could be arthritis in the hips or compression of a nerve that exits out of the lower spine. With that said , this is very hard to diagnose on this forum. Best to get evaluated by a physician.
