Maybe: A touch of blood is probably normal, but the presence of an odor is suggestive of a possible wound infection. If there is no associated pain, swelling, or redness than wash with soap and water and apply triple antibiotic ointment twice a day. If the problem persists or if symptoms develop than consult your surgeon.
