Side-effect: The most likely explanation for your late period is a side-effect of the steroids. It is also not uncommon to occasionally miss a period with the low dose pills in use today. However, to be sure, do a pregnancy test and repeat it in 3-5 days if it is negative. In the meantime, continue taking your birth control pills. Hope this helps.
