Not a problem: By this time your baby is gaining and average of 1 1/2 to 2 pounds and growing 1 to 1 1/2 inches each month. Activity level is increasing with better -longer sleep patterns versus newborn period. You pediatrician should be able to reassure your infant's well being at the next health maintenance visit by monitoring the growth plotted on the standardized curves.
