How long does it take to get over a sinus infection? are antibodies really needed? i think they just give them to people to make it easier.

Depends: It depends on the type. Sinusitis associated with a viral infection usually resolves in less than 10 day without treatment. Acute bacterial sinusitis from 5-10 days depending on the type of antibiotic. Chronic sinusitis is tricky and often takes weeks (often along with prednisone) to respond if there is a response at all.
