Barotrauma: Barotrauma from eustachian tube dysfunction from cold and changes in air pressure when flying. A few tips: chew gum, inhale, and then gently exhale while holding the nostrils closed and the mouth shut; suck on candy, yawn. If no relief, try antihistamines and decongestants by mouth. If still no relief, see ENT doc.
