A member asked:

Can you get vitaminosis from veggie juicing - 40/oz juice/day + disc supplements. if so, are damage permanent or will body detox and heal itself?

Unlikley: Do not know what is in disc supplements, but drinking vegetable juice is not likely to give you an overdose of vitamins. There are few vitamins which can produce significant overdoses. If you are concerned, stop the supplements. They are completely unnecessary and will only damage your financial standing.

Highly unlikely: Vitamin toxicity is very rare. The only way to take too many vitamins is from over 50, 000 units of a/day for at least 18 mos, at least 40, 000 iu of d for many months, over 1000 units of vit e for months & over 250 mg of b6/day for months. The amount of these in juices is negligible. Most vitamin toxicity is reversible, though a could cause permanent liver damage & b6 permanent neuropathy.
