GERD: There are many non-medical measures you can take to help reflux, such as avoiding particular foods, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, tilting your bed, and avoiding over eating before bedtime, but many people require long-term medication in addition to those measures. If the Prilosec dose that you're on is not controlling the symptoms well, see your doctor for dosage adjustments. Good luck.
