Is it safe to give my baby 6 months old melon?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Melons for infants: As your infant is at an age that it is safe to introduce solid foods, it is fine to offer melon. I would make sure you purée it with a food processor or "baby bullet" to insure that it will be a texture that he/she can handle. I would try only this new food for 3-5 days to make sure there is no allergic reaction to it. You can continue other solid foods your infant has already been eating.
