Complications: There is an association with an increased risk of some complications like placenta abruption, oligohydramnios (decreased fluid around baby), and others. Be sure to discuss increased surveillance during your pregnancy. Also ask about referral to maternal fetal medicine specialist. Be assured most women and babies do well. Hope this was helpful.
