Better than both: depends how sever rash you have. If not severe and not oozing hydrocortisone cream 1% can be obtained OTC if sever see PCP. Domeboro is helpful for oozing rash but you will still need topical cortisone. Aveeno (oatmeal) powder can relieve some itching and still you will need topical cortisone.

Eh...: I'm thinking even OTC hydrocortisone cream/ointment would be better for allergic contact dermatitis. If just irritation, perhaps the powders would offer some relief. Just saying from the responses I've gotten from patients.
