Colon cancer: Surgical resection will be the mainstay therapy for a stage ii colon cancer. The role of chemotherapy for a stage ii colon cancer is not very clear. It is individually basis. For certain stage ii colon cancer with high risk features- chemotherapy may be useful to decrease risk for recurrence. However for the rest of other stage ii colon cancer- without-high risk features- no role for chemo. D/w md.
