Sure.: Depends on the throat issues you mean. Soda can increase reflux of stomach content into esophagus, which can cause throat irritation and pain. Regular and diet can do so, even seltzer. Very sweet drinks and foods increase reflux, as does caffeine (cola, dr pepper, sierra mist, sunkist orange, mountain dew, etc).
