Hmm: You may be having an allergic reaction to the soda, or it might be stimulating a lot of acid which can cause some irritation to the voice box. I would check with your ENT and get an evaluation of your throat!

Uncertain: But swelling of throat, tongue, face or lips after ingesting a food or medication could be related to an allergic response. I would strongly encourage you to stop drinking it.
