Fixed vs Removable: Prosthetics can either be fixed or removable in nature... not much other choice. The "flipper" is your removable choice. If your dentist/periodontist team wishes to use any implants that are placed as abutments for a temporary bridge while they heal, then that is your fixed solution. The pros and cons should be discussed with your team. You can always leave the space empty for the short run.
