A member asked:

I'm experiencing some numbness from below my elbow to my finger tips.. what could be causing this ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ulnar nerve: Sharply defined changes in sensation like this are usually caused by compression of the ulnar nerve at the "funny bone." Sometimes you can press or tap the nerve and make the symptoms occur or worsen. Typically treated with restricted use of elbow, elbow padding to protect the nerve and perhaps non steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. .
