Possible: Discuss with your OB, but best to await it until 39 weeks

Possible: Sweeping the membranes at term is appropriate and can sometimes help to start labor, but generally this is not recommended until 39 weeks since the baby can still benefit from brain maturation within the womb for another two weeks! Be patient and labor will come.
