Is a epidural that is given during a csection different then the one used for labor pain. if so, what makes it different?

Same: Procedure. It's just that the medications for the C-section are at a higher concentration. The epidural for labor is relatively weaker in comparison. We don't want you so numb for labor that you can't push. For csection we want you very numb for comfort.
