Maybe not: Adrafinil is the medicine from which modafinil and armodafinil are derived. (It's not available for me to prescribe, in the US.) It may work as well as those: but if so, it is a wake-promoting medicine, but probably variable in how well individuals respond, like modafinil. And highly variable in how well it and it's derivatives work for ADHD.
