Only if from ADHD: Stimulants such as Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) are not good medications for anxiety, unless the anxiety is arising because of the pressure you're experiencing as a result of adhd. Many with primary anxiety find that stimulants make them feel worse and stop taking them after a dose or two. Antidepressants usually are much better medications for anxiety.

Not usually: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) may relieve anxiety that is due to ADHD and the difficulty it causes. However, it can significantly increase anxiety .
