Yes: The best is therapy + medication. Fda approved meds include anafranil, paxil, (paroxetine) luvox, Prozac & zoloft. Dose for ocd is at first 50 mg once a day and gradually increased to a maximum of 200 mg. Discuss w/ prescribing doc. Exposure-based cognitive behavioral therapy trials have produced consistent remission rates ranging from 40% to 85% across studies.
