Listen, Tony: An "open wound" is still bleeding. Blood isn't going to fly off the bag, penetrate even a still-bleeding wound, and make you sick. You're old enough to know that this isn't a set-up for any kind of infection. The early years prove that even family members don't infect one another except through sex or needle-sharing. Unlikely: First the blood must be HIV infected for you to contract it. Second the chance for you to catch HIV from this manner is very small even if the blood is infected with HIV. But if you are worried, it never hurts to get tested about 3 months after the contact.
