A member asked:

My wife has had her tubes tied for more than 10 years. she is now 47. can or should her tubes be untied? we were interested in having another child...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fresh eggs: It may be technically possible but a problem as getting tubes to work again after they were tied is not always successful. A fertility dr could help you ovulate & harvest some eggs through a laparoscope. Your husbands sperm could be added to the eggs and the resulting embryos placed into your womb. Difficult & expensive but possible.
