Anovulation: The endometrial stripe should measure up to 8 or 10 mm in the normal cycle and would be thin right after a period. Your bleeding was likely due to the overgrown endometrium noted on the sonogram. The sono should have also shown the condition of your ovaries which could explain the thickened endometrium. Talk to your doctor about your bleeding and the sono findings as well as the biopsy results.

Thick endometrium: You have an abnormal bleeding and endometrium is slightly thickened. Biopsy is already performed. it will give you a definitive answer, wait for the result.
