Possible: In general, asthma may be somewhat worse during pregnancy but the course varies from person to person and even from pregnancy to pregnancy. Some gets better, some worse , and some no change in their asthma. Regardless, you will need monitoring on your asthma during pregnancy since uncontrolled asthma is not good for the fetus (baby).

True: Pregnancy brings on many changes that affect breathing: the extra weight and a big uterus pushing up against the diaphragm, are two factors normal for all moms. However, maternal asthma during pregnancy is less predictable; equally 1/3 get worse, better, or, sure enough, stay the same. Thankfully, asthma almost always eases up around the time of delivery (perhaps due to excess hormones).
