Small amount: of bleeding is common when a woman losing her virginity. Bleeding for a few days may be a sign of trauma during intercourse. If the bleeding is very light, there is probably not a reason for concern; however, if more than spotting and continuing for several days, being examined by a healthcare provider to determine the cause of the bleeding is a good idea.
