See your doc: If this is truly related to intercourse, the act of penetration may have created an area of irritation of the vaginal vault/canal or more likely irritated the cervix or an existing cervical lesion. If the bleeding was a significant as you report see your doc to make sure there is a more concerning underlying vaginal/cervix lesion.
