A member asked:

Is it ok to bleed after intercourse with a iud i switched partners and this one seems to be bigger could he have done something to move my iud?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: An ob-gyn doctor can evaluate if one is worried about symptoms that occur after sex. Iud's are designed to stay in place, even with sexual activity, because women with iud's are all having sex (that's why they have an iud). If bleeding happens again, one can talk with her doctor to see if she needs to be examined. The size of the penis is probably less of a factor than the type of activity.
