Severe Anxiety: I feel empathy for your severe anxiety all the time. Not being able to eat, sleep or concentrate can be due to severe anxiety or depression. Severe Anxiety and Depression are treatable conditions with good success. You are not having nervous breakdown. See a Psychiatrist immediately for diagnosis, Therapy and medication. Use Breathing Relaxation, Visual imagery, Tai Chi, Yoga, Meditation.

"Nervous breakdown": is a slang catch all phrase and not a clinical diagnosis. You are likely dealing w/an anxiety disorder of one type or another. A mental health professional can teach you ways to help yourself. Please don't use medication only. See www.relaxationresponse.org for some help also. Peace and good health.
