Not normal: You are having a reaction to the antibiotic. Stop antibiotic NOW and call doc or doc on call to discuss.

Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): Greetings. Amox/clav is a great antibiotic for infections in the head and neck but one side effect is the potential for diarrhea. Once patients develop diarrhea while on this medication in my practice, I stop it immediately. And change the medication if needed. I would recommend drinking Gatorade to replace your fluids and electrolytes and phone your doctor for instructions.
