See your dentist: See your dentist to determine the actual cause of those dark spots. Are you using a Brand name and ADA accepted toothpaste? It's unlikely what you describe is caused by any toothpaste. Your own dentist can help sort this all out for you.

Dark spots: The tooth can be discolored due to several common causes but not a toothpaste. Poor dental hygiene, bad diet, smoking, dental caries, just to name a few. See your dentist for evaluation and cleaning.

Doubtful: Toothpaste should not cause dark spots. Please see your dentist to determine the actual cause of the discoloration, the appropriate treatment, and perhaps the recommendation of a different toothpaste.
