Spine surgeon: I would see a spine surgeon and make sure very eying is alright before returning to the chiropractor. If they want to operate, ask for a second opinion to be sure. Also ask about returning in a chiropractor, but if its not working, it may not be the best option for you. Hope this helps!

Step by Step.: It is not that unusual for some patient to have some degree of discomfort after a an adjustment. Having said that, it might be prudent to first talk to the doctor who adjusted you. After hearing his reasoning, if you are still concerned, then see your family doctor first. If further evaluation and treatment is advised, he should offer you the consultants to see.
