Yes: Manipulation may actually be hurting you. Find a prolotherapist to help repair the weak ligaments that leads to the bulging disc. ' or get an MRI to see if there is significant nerve compression that needs to be relieved.

Yes: Chiropractic medicine is good at what it does, helping with chronic pain with aspects of physical therapy and allowing the body to heal itself. However, if there is something actually physically wrong, then it may need to be physically repaired. A good quality neurosurgeon or back specialist can answer that question for you.

Neurosurgeon : Neurosurgeon or orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine are your best options.

Please be safe: If you do have increased pain after chiropractic visit, and also noting radiation of pain into an arm, with some numbness, tingling, weakness, suspend the treatments, and see a spine specialist. High velocity, high amplitude chiropractic manipulations have caused disc ruptures, and spinal cord damage on rare occasions. Best to be safe.

See neurosurgeon!: Neck slipped discs are nothing to play with - seek expert neurosurgical care as soon as possible and stop manipulations of your neck until then!
