Inclusion cyst: What you described is consistent with an inclusion cyst. It is not dangerous and there is no urgency. When you see your doctor next time ask her/him to look at it to determine if it needs to be removed. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco or alcohol in any form. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.

See below: If this is in forearm near the wrist (either side of wrist), a ganglion cyst is favored. As with any 'firm lump' in the skin/subcutis, these are the possibilities: cysts (ganglion or inclusion), nodular fasciitis, neurofibroma, benign myxoid tumors, or other fibrous tumors such as DFSP. If it is a cyst, they generally do not require treatment; however, if infected, they need incision and drainage
