A few times a month over the last few years i will get a headache that will be about an 8 but only last for about 2 seconds. should i worry?

No: Sharp head pains lasting just a few seconds are not uncommon and usually are not a symptom of a serious problem. The fact that there has been no worsening over a number of years is reassuring. The exact cause of this type of pain is unknown.
