Loss of sensibility: may be due to neuropathy ( bilateral brain pathology would be necessary to produce loss of touch on both sides of the body. So rare in a 16 year old it's hardly worth considering. diffuse nerve injury ( neuropathy ) in a sixteen year old is most often due to toxins and malnutrition . Occasionally we see this with MS and Diabetes in teens.
