How long does it take to know if nasal steroid is helping a sinus cyst? are there any signs to look for?

3-4 weeks: I ask my patients to give it a good 3-4 weeks to see if it is helping. Better breathing, less congestion would be signs that it is helping. Hope this was helpful. Best of luck. Dr R

Could be awhile: Hard to know. Mucous retention cysts in sinuses (polyps) are only visible on imaging studies. They usually don't cause symptoms. Plus, not sure they'll work anyway; more likely help nasal polyps, not sinus polyps. Irrigation also more likely helpful if sinus surgery has opened passages (like having "windows" made).
