Not typically: Herpes does not reduce fertility, but can be transmitted to newborn during childbirth if mother has active infection during labor. Infertility is defined as at least 1yr of actively trying to conceive without success. If you have not actively tried for a year, then focus on relaxation. You can purchase ovulation predictor kits to inform ideal time to attempt conception.
