Petichiel spots: If you child was vomiting or coughing with force these spots can appear on the face particularly around the eyes bit if he was not, or you see them in other parts of his body , yes see his pediatrician or go to ER . Good luck.

Location: Coughing/vomiting spots (petechiae) are small popped capillaries near the skin surface, usually limited to the face and eyes and never seen below the level of the heart. If so, there spots could mean a significant medical condition. If it fits for coughing, just monitor the situation.The ER is no place for most kids most of the time (to many weird exposures)
